MEUKOW VS Black GB

MEUKOW VS Black GB

Don’t play by the rules, dare to be different

Since the 19th century, Meukow’s cognacs have been developed with the aim of meeting the discerning tastes of cognac drinkers around the world. Starting with the first batch produced for Tsar Alexander II, to the consumers of today.

After the double distillation of the wines, the cellar master carefully selects the eaux-de-vie, which are then aged in oak barrels for at least two years. These eaux-de-vie come from different crus of the 6 crus that make up the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée – Cognac: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois, Bons Bois, Borderies and Bois Ordinaires.

Suppleness, power and elegance are the result of a refined blend made by cellar master Anne Sarteaux, one of the few female cellar masters in the Cognac world. To ensure the Meukow style, Anne Sarteaux uses mainly Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne cognacs for the richness and complexity of their floral notes, and Fins Bois, Bons Bois and Borderies for their fruity aromas and woody notes that bring a perfect balance to the blend.
