Se Busca, which means “wanted” in Spanish, is a tribute to the brave women of the Mexican Revolution who stood shoulder to shoulder with men in the struggle for a new constitution. As compromised as mezcal – these women were the outlaws of their time, earning the titles of Adelitas and Soldaderas (women in the military). Se Busca Mezcal is the homage to their battle cry – a cry that proves that in every revolution there is love. This is a super premium mezcal made from 100% Agave Augustifolia Espadin. Unlike industrial mezcal, SE BUSCA is made exclusively using the intricate Artesanal process in San Juan del Rio, a small town in Oaxaca, Mexico. In harmony with rich, cooked agave and mesquite, it embodies the rebel spirit of women during the Mexican Revolution, which gave it the title “Se Busca.”
Boiled agave and mesquite on the nose, this young mezcal opens on the palate with nuts, fruits and green vegetables, ending in a sweet, weighty finish with a gentle spicy kick.
