Produced in the traditional way and matured to the highest quality in new American white oak barrels, the classic Slyrs Single Malt has been delighting whisky lovers far beyond the borders for years with its incomparably mild, pleasantly malty character and its fruit-driven aromas. In the first Upper Bavarian whiskey distillery on the picturesque Schliersee on the Tyrolean-Bavarian border, the entire production process has been taking place since 2007, even the mash is produced in-house.
Already the SLYRS Classic is so well matured after three to six years in the barrel that it inspires the lovers and connoisseurs and has received numerous awards. The 12-year-old version is consequently absolutely perfect with its fully developed aroma – a valuable masterpiece for special occasions in the life of a true connoisseur.
Color: Clear and golden yellow
Aroma: Spicy mild tones such as vanilla, caramel, honey and cinnamon dominate, are underlined by the scent of ripe pears and apricots, in addition, the nose picks up hints of smoke, wood, nutmeg and tarragon.
Taste: Pleasantly soft structure with complex flavors of orange and salted caramel.
Finish: Long and complex with well integrated flavors of ripe fruit.
