De Kuyper continues to pursue new sales strategy in Austria

Schiedam, October 8, 2021 – De Kuyper Royal Distillers is giving its premium brands De Kuyper Liqueurs and Peachtree to Amber Beverage in Austria as of January 1, 2022. De Kuyper is thus continuing the development of its route-to-market strategy in Austria, including a clear differentiation of its brands in the on and off-trade.

“We have taken this decision together with Beam Suntory and by mutual agreement, so that both companies can fully focus on their strategic priorities in these two markets. In line with our Own the Cocktail vision, we have high growth ambitions, especially in the fast-growing cocktail market, which we intend to further expand. Of course, both companies are working together to ensure a smooth handover and to provide the best possible service until the end of the distribution agreement,” explains Mark de Witte, CEO of De Kuyper. “We would like to thank the team at Beam Suntory Austria for the valuable work that has been done over the nearly three years to further expand the De Kuyper portfolio in the German and Austrian bar scene as well as in the trade,” adds de Witte.
